Frequently Asked Questions
I haven’t heard anything about pipe cleaning before, is there pipe cleaning in other countries ?
Yes, Europe and Japan have had this pipe cleaning many years ago, Taiwan has adopted the washing technique from Germany recently and after some upgrade, it is now widely used in North East Asia.
Is there a need to clean the pipe we use at home ?
Definitely, as we are fully aware, we are living in a more and more contaminated environment, tap water contamination is one of them
that most people may have neglected. Uncleaned pipe will cause not only clogging due to rust, it will retain heavy metal deposits like lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury, it will nurture algae, colon bacillus, bacteria.
Are different kind of water pipes equally contaminated ?
Yes, be it copper pipe, galvanized steel pipe, PVC pipe, HDPE pipe, they will collect unwanted deposits. Different colors of contaminated water that flows out after cleaning is a best proof, cold water pipe will normally produce white substance, green substance are algae, hot water pipe and normally produces coffee-like substance , rust are also coffee-like.
What’s the latest PCSV technique ?
It’s an improved version of the Japanese technique whereby using vacuum and water and food grade citric acid (i.e. it is not corrosive
cleansing agent, therefore it’s very safe ) and using a 4 stages cleaning method to loosen the rust and stubborn contaminated alien layer (“CAL”) on the inner wall of the water pipe, and using water impulses to remove layer by layer of these unwanted contaminated alien layer (“CAL”) A typical water pipe below 25 years old will require about 180 to 240 minutes to complete the wash.

PCSV’s 4 stages of cleaning are :

-
Pressurized water impulses
-
Instant back and forth water current
-
Unique swirling water current to clean even the hardest reach nook and corners of the pipe internal layer.
-
Creation of temporary vacuum to loosen and eradicate the CAL.
PCSV’s 5 important features

-
Fast – cutting-edge technology, short cleaning time, low noise, not affecting daily routine in a household. Our professional team can clean any time of the day and one complete wash will normally take 180 to 240 minutes.
-
Safe – All cleaning will be monitored by a specially-designed microchip that has undergone multiple testings. During cleaning, pipes are absolutely safe, unless pipe are already cracked or broken before we do the cleaning, 99.9% of cleaning at same pressure would not result in broken pipe. We advise clients to change water pipe if there are cracked or broken before clients engage us to clean. Our SOP 1 also requires us to check if there is any leakage to the existing pipe before we start cleaning.
-
Cleanliness – Using PCSV will clean the pipe internal layer without having the need to change pipe due to clogging or contamination by CAL.
-
Environmental friendly – We use food grade citric acid as cleaning agent, no contamination created due to this wash.
-
Effective – 4 unique stages of cleaning using PCSV
Is the cleaning going to break the house pipes ?
It’s just like washing a dirty plastic pail, it won’t break the plastic pail. House pipes are designed to withstand 15kg/cm2 of pressure an
PCSV only uses about 2.5kg/cm2 of pressure, the highest pressure used by PCSV technique is 5kg/cm2, so it’s very safe, unless the pipes has already broken or cracked before cleaning.
Which part of the pipes will be cleaned ?
From the SYABAS water meter onward until all faucets in the households. For landed property, that also includes from the water
outlet of water tank to all water faucets.
Do we need to clean our pipe if our house/condo are still new ?
Although new pipes do not have so serious problems like algae, rust or heavy metal deposits, but cleaning can still be carried out to clean all foreign matters that was leftover by installation which normal water current could not get rid of. These leftovers, if not cleaned, may be the impetus to collect more foreign deposit overtime. We suggest you clean your house pipes even if it’s new, you can still witness murky water flowing out during cleaning the process, our company guarantee full refund if you do not see dirty water flushing out after washing.
How long does it take to do the cleaning ?
A typical condo with 1 kitchen and 2 washrooms will take about 60 to 90 minutes, a landed property that has a separate water tank and more washrooms would be like 2 to 3 hours.

Even after cleaning the pipe, we can’t improve the quality of water ?
That’s not true, cleaned pipe will ensure smoother flow of water
(ie less clogging by CAL) and cleaner water for daily usage like washing clothes, fruits, vegetables and dishes, having shower etc (though we can’t see this by naked eyes). However, the water is still not safe for drinking. To make the water drinkable, we need to install a water purifier (depending on specification of purifier) or boil the water to 100OC before consumption.
How long do we need to clean the pipes again after the initial cleaning ?
That depends on the quality of water, places with hard water is advisable to clean once every 18 months, otherwise once every 24
months. Installing a water filter would enhance water quality and the cleaning can be done after 3 years after initial cleaning.
I have already installed a purifier in kitchen and a filter in my garden, do I still need to do the cleaning of the pipe ?
A water purifier in the kitchen just serves to filter the last round o particles above a certain size that was not filtered by the filter
installed at the garden, and that is for drinking. But what about other water outlets for washing fruits, vegetables and dishes, for washing our face, hair, body and clothes,(do you notice that pure white clothes becoming yellowish after washing a few times ? ) these are the one not covered by your purifier. That’s why we guarantee you a full refund if the water that flush out after cleaning is not brownish in color.
What’s the difference if we only clean the house pipes but not the main pipe supplying water to households ?
That’s what most people would think, but bear in mind water that’s running continuously in high pressure doesn’t collect so much foreign matters on its inner wall than stagnant water. Comparatively, main pipes under normal circumstances have continuous running water with higher pressure but house pipes don’t, that’s why regardless of main pipes be cleaned or not, house pipes will still form the CAL over a time period. That’s why there’s an adage “Rolling Stone doesn’t Collect Moss”.
Are there any the carcinogenic matters found in uncleaned water? If yes, what are they ?
Everyone knows Chlorine is used to kills germs and bacteria in tap water, however Chlorine and organic matter in water like algae will
create new substance which are found to be harmful for health like trihalomethanes and chloroform.
Since PVC pipe does not get rust, is it safer than iron pipe ?
Yes, PVC pipe would not get rusty, but contaminated foreign layer (“CAL”) will still be formed especially horizontal pipes that has
stagnant water.
